  • ALPHA COMPANY- DUTY

Ginger De Castro best fits the value of Duty. She works hard to accomplish her job; PT, assignments, inspection and carrying out orders when they’re given. When she works with her squad, she accomplishes whatever the task is with her group. Ginger works hard everyday to become a better cadet. She knows her responsibility. Ginger does a great job working in this battalion

  • ECHO COMPANY- INTEGRITY

Benjamin Zinnel has exemplified integrity through his demonstration of discipline, honesty, and good moral character. He has adapted well to the difference of the Army’s regulations compared to those of the Navy despite challenging habits, such as by wearing designated uniforms (both on PT and drill days) properly and with respect. As a squad leader he has also risen to the challenge of not only leading other cadets but taking responsibility for accomplishments and shortcomings, teaching them somewhat autonomously drill procedures despite not knowing it as well as the Navy’s regulation. Well-liked in the company, it’s clear that Ben is a cadet of integrous character and we are glad to have him in Echo Company.

  • UNARMED TEAM- PERSONAL COURAGE

Adam Gilbert exhibits an immense amount of personal courage. As a freshman, he has does not have much background when it comes to drilling and JROTC knowledge. However, when he practices he never gives up. Even if he makes minor mistakes, he works hard to recover from them and learns how to improve himself next time. He also does not allow his mistakes to affect his attitude nor his attendance. He is one of the few cadets who work hard no matter what obstacle they come by, thus giving him the respectable quality of personal courage.
