Welcome to Fullerton Union High School, home of the Tribe and 124 years of excellence. We have a rich tradition of academic, athletic and co-curricular success which has earned our being included in the Washington Post’s list of Most Challenging High Schools. Our Speech and Debate team has won four national championships since 2008. Our theater program is ranked in the top 1% in California and other award winning programs include vocal music, Agriculture Science, JROTC and our newspaper, the Pleiades. This is just a small sampling of many of the programs we offer where students apply their learning and leadership skills and have a chance to shine in the many opportunities given to showcase their talents. It is this commitment to learning that has propelled us to a national ranking in the top 7% of all high schools by US News and World Report.
FUHS offers a variety of programs not only so students can apply their learning but so that every student can find their passion and find a place to call their own. There is so much to choose from because our extracurricular and course offerings are as diverse as our student body and represent what is best in schools today. Our newest program, BEAST (Biology, Engineering, Arts, Science, and Technology) opened in 2016. This program focuses on the integration of robotics with biology and arts so that students imagine, design and create creature characters. All of our programs have been created to support students in their readiness for college and a career which is evidenced by the number of graduates who are accepted to postsecondary education and excel in their career after graduation.
I invite you to be a part of the excitement that is the Tribe. When you come on our campus, meet our students and staff, you too will be “An Indian for Life!”
