Look to this page for pre-college programs provided by outside entities and/or educational institutions in partnership with Fullerton Union High School. These programs provide a wonderful opportunity for students to build academic and social experiences that will provide them with the tools they need to be successful in the future.
Cal State Fullerton's Upward Bounce program is open to 9-12th graders at FUHS who will receive one on one college advising from a CSUF Upward Bound Counselor, after school tutoring, summer dorming experience and much more. The UB program meets in the Career Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays afterschool. Please see the attached flyer for more info. Upward Bound flyer
The JOYA Scholars Program inspires and prepares students from low-income families in the Fullerton and Placentia area to succeed through higher education. They offer tutoring, mentoring, SAT Prep, campus visits and cultural outings. See the flyer for more information. JOYA Flyer
Fullerton High School currently has Dual Enrollmnet agreements with both Fullerton College and Cypress College. Dual Enrollment classes offer our students a chance to take college level classes on our campus for FREE. These classes are taught by college staff and students receive credits on their college transcripts. The following courses are being offered for the Fall of 2019:
Fullerton College: Sociology 101 and Counseling 140
Cypress College: HRC 100 Nutrition and HRC 135 Culinary Fundamentals I
