Welcome to the Sonora High School Library

  • The mission of Sonora’s library is to provide materials that help support student learning, student success, and the development of effective information users. There is a range of resources available, including textbooks, recreational and research materials, and research databases. Refer to the links on the left-hand side to browse through general library information and expectations, our library catalog, research databases, and some other helpful resources.

    Library Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm 

    Closed: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm Daily (Schedule may change whether it’s a Late Start, Assembly, or any other day with an adjusted schedule.)

    • General Guidelines

      • Students are allowed up to 5 checkouts at one time.

      • Students can borrow books for 3 weeks at a time.

      • Students may renew their checkouts for an additional 3 weeks, as long as no one else has placed a hold on the item. 

      • Students are not charged fees for overdue books. However, they will be responsible for any lost book fees. The standard charge for lost books is $25.
