• Welcome to Sonora High School!

    For students who have been accepted to Sonora through Open Enrollment, all enrollment materials must be submitted no later than March 15, 2024, at 3:00 PM, or the Open Enrollment permit shall be revoked. 


    Online Enrollment Instructions

    STEP 1 - Begin by completing the Online Enrollment. Instructions are listed below:

    Please be prepared to upload the following documents: 

    • Proof of Address (showing service address and parent/guardian name). Must be a current bill, the following is acceptable:    

      • Water, Gas, or Electric bill

      • Rental Agreement or Mortgage Statement

      • *if proof of address is not in a parent/guardian's name, a “Living with Others” form will need to be completed. Please call 562-266-2007 for information. 

    • Birth Certificate or passport

    • Immunization Record (Can be obtained from the previous school, or a yellow immunization card can be used.) Immunizations must be up to date.

    • Up-to-date unofficial transcript from the previous school and/or withdrawal grades.

     ***Additional forms if applicable***

    • Approved Inter/Intra-district permit  

    • Current IEP/504

    • Legal/Notarized Guardianship

    Online Enrollment Written Instructions

    STEP 2 - ALL STUDENTS MUST SELECT THEIR COURSES USING THE ONLINE COURSE REGISTRATION FORM. YOU MUST COMPLETE ENROLLMENT PRIOR TO SUBMITTING YOUR COURSE REQUEST.  

    *Students on an IEP or a 504 plan should complete this form.  Final placement will be determined after your transition meeting.
