• Welcome to Sonora High School

    If you live within the Sonora High School attendance area and would like to enroll your student, please view the information below. 

    Registration materials must be submitted by March 14, 2025, at 3:00 P.M., or students will have their Open Enrollment revoked and will default back to their assigned home school based on residency.

    Step 1: Enrollment 

    Your student is not automatically enrolled in high school. You must complete the enrollment process to be a Sonora High School student next year in one of two ways:

    1) Online Aeries Enrollment

    https://enrollment.fjuhsd.org/ and select "Pre-Enrollment 2025-26"

    OR

    2) Complete the Paper Packet and submit it with the required documents to your assigned Registration Night (see attached flyer below)

      • Students who currently attend one of our feeder middle schools (Washington Middle School, Imperial Middle School, Racho Starbuck Intermediate), and live within the SOHS attendance area will receive a paper packet at school soon!
      • Paper Packets for students who have previously attended private schools or are from outside the Fullerton Joint Union High School District may be requested from the SOHS guidance office during business hours.

    Enrollment Checklist:

    The following items are required to complete the enrollment process (Online Aeries Enrollment OR Paper Packet):

    • Valid Email Address
      • Parents/Guardians must have a valid, regularly used email address.
    • Immunization Record: Proof of up-to-date immunizations
    • Proof of Address: Documents provided must be in the parent/guardian's name and address.
      • Acceptable documents include:
        • Current utility bill (electricity, gas, water)
        • Mortgage statement or lease/rental agreement
    • Birth Certificate: Birth certificate or passport to verify the student's age.
    • Current Transcript & Recent Report Card
    • Other essential documents/information: Custodial or restraining court orders, Current IEP or 504 Plan, etc. (if applicable)

    AFTER you have completed ONLINE ENROLLMENT, here is what you can expect:

    • You may get a call or email from our staff requesting additional information to finalize enrollment.
    • You may need to bring or email the required documents to the Guidance Office at SOHS if you did not upload during online enrollment.
    • FJUHSD utilizes two different Aeries portals:
      • Aeries Online Enrollment and Aeries Student Information System.
        • Parents and students will each have their own Student Information System accounts to access attendance, grades, reports, test results, electronic report cards, electronic transcripts, and other documents related to the student. These portal accounts will be created for parents and students by our district.
    • Once you have enrolled in FJUHSD and the district has created your Parent Aeries portal, you will automatically receive an email from Aeries (ADNadmin@fjuhsd.org) to complete Data Confirmation.
      • This is a step-by-step process in which the parent/guardian verifies student information such as contacts, emergency contacts, physical address/mailing address, medical information, authorizations, and family information.
        • Aeries will send the parent portal login email to the email address you used when you enrolled your student(s).
    • Students will receive their portal access when the new school year starts.
