Big Brothers Big Sisters of America
Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is one of the most enjoyable things you’ll ever do. Not to mention, one of the most fulfilling. You have the opportunity to help shape a child’s future for the better by empowering them to achieve. And the best part is, it’s actually a lot of fun. You and your Little can share the kinds of activities you already like to do.
Play sports together. Go on a hike. Read books. Eat a pizza with extra anchovies. Or just give some advice and inspiration. Whatever it is you enjoy, odds are you’ll enjoy them even more with your Little—and you’ll be making a life-changing impact.

ChickTech focuses on empowering and encouraging both girls and women to make them feel they can go into the technology field whether it is through engineering, business, project management, technical communications, or all sorts of other ways to be in technology! We are committed to connecting them to a supportive community full of volunteers, companies, and other allies to support our cause.

    Dayle Mcintosh Center
Who We Are: Dayle McIntosh Disability Resource Centers is California’s leading Independent Living Center. Our namesake and inspiration, the late Ms. Dayle McIntosh, was a person with quadriplegia. She only had use of her fingers and thumbs, yet she lived independently, held a job and volunteered her time to help others. Since we opened our doors in 1977, we have provided people with disabilities —of all ages and from all walks of life—with the knowledge, support, skills and tools to live richer, fuller and more independent lives.
What We Do: Very simply we help people with disabilities live independently and succeed in every area they desire. Dayle McIntosh Disability Resource Centers is not a residential program, but a consumer-driven organization that provides a broad menu of on-site and remote services.
