Academy (Early College)
-
Buena Park High School is in a partnership with Cal State Fullerton, Fullerton College, and Mt. San Antonio Community College. Early College students are provided the educational opportunity to not only earn UC/CSU transferrable college units (at no cost), but also to develop the academically rigorous skills needed to succeed in their post-secondary education. Qualified Early College students are able to enroll in college courses as part of their traditional school day. Students will earn UC/CSU transferrable college credit while meeting their high school graduation requirements at the same time.
All courses are instructed by Advanced Placement trained teachers and/or College Faculty who are considered experts in their specific subject areas. All course work meets University of California and California State University “a-g” entrance requirements.
The Early College Coordinator in conjunction with the counselors will provide personalized academic advisement to all students to “Realize Tomorrow’s Dreams Today”.
