8th Grade TT/IB/Cambridge/Honors ONLINE Application

    Testing for current 8th grade students is Saturday mornings January 14, 21, and 28, 2023.  Any 8th grade student considering Troy Tech, International Baccalaureate, Cambridge, or Honors at Troy should test. ONLINE APPLICATION LINK HERE  
    • Applicants are encouraged to register online for testing between NOW and January 25, 2023 at the link below; however, applications are available at the testing and walk-ins are welcome.

    • Student and parent check-in at 7:15 a.m.; Jan 14 check-in at Library and Jan 21/28 at North Gym. Parent exits after check-in.
    • Bring student photo id or passport and printout of 8th grade schedule or grades listing current math course.

    • Testing covers midyear eighth grade content in math and English, and the format includes multiple-choice questions and an English essay.
    • The best preparation for testing is successful progress in a challenging eighth grade course of study.

    • By March 1, 2023, notifications will be emailed to all applicants. Acceptance emails will include March registration time and instructions.

    • All applicants will be reviewed for acceptance into Troy Tech, International Baccalaureate, Cambridge, and Honors placement at Troy High School. Information regarding program commitment will be discussed at registration March 2023.

    Who needs to apply for the Troy Tech/IB/Cambridge/Honors Programs at Troy? Any eighth grade student considering Troy Tech, International Baccalaureate, Cambridge, or Honors at Troy. We welcome students within Troy’s attendance area, within the Fullerton Joint Union High School District (FJUHSD) as well as residents outside of FJUHSD. For residents outside FJUHSD, the basis for attendance at Troy will be the Troy Tech Program; families will be given information regarding obtaining an inter-district permit at March registration.

    To change or correct any information on your online application form: Do NOT re-register online. When you come to the January test date, you will verify your application and can note any changes or updates at that time.

    To change your test date: Do NOT re-register online for the new date. Come to Troy on another test date (January 14, 21, or 28, 2023); correct your online registration form then. You can test on any test date. Your registration confirms your intent to test.
