-
This is a space for everyone to explore, learn, and enjoy. To ensure a positive experience for all, we have some behavior expectations in place. Whether you are here studying or with a class, you have a free period, or are participating in events, your cooperation helps create a welcoming environment for everyone.
Food and Drink Policy: No food or drink allowed at any time, water ONLY is ok.
Respect Others: Be courteous and respectful to other students and staff at all times.
Keep Areas Tidy: Clean up after yourself, including disposing of trash and returning materials to their proper places and pushing in your chairs.
Use Technology Responsibly: Use electronic devices at a low volume and make sure to follow the FJUHSD technology agreement.
Limit Disruptive Behavior: Avoid loud conversations, running, or any actions that could disturb others.
Care for Materials: Handle library books/textbooks/Chromebooks and materials, including the Library furniture, with care to avoid damage.
Stay Within Designated Areas: Only use the areas of the library that are open to students. The backroom to the Library is off limits to students.
No Bullying or Harassment: Everyone deserves a safe and welcoming environment; any form of bullying will not be tolerated.
Follow Staff Instructions: Respect the guidance and decisions of library staff at all times.
Group Study Etiquette: When working in groups, keep your voices down and be considerate of others who are studying nearby.
Library Passes: Students are required to have a pass from their teacher to use the library during class time. If a student has a free period, they must have a sticker on the back of their ID card indicating the free period. Stickers are located at the attendance desk. Students may also show their 5 Star app which will reflect a free period.
