TRACK AND FIELD
This past Saturday at the annual Fullerton City Meet our Lancers brought home over 40 medals and broke numerous personal records. Standouts on the girls side included Julissa H and Mykena M. While on the boys side Vince S, Gabe M, Ryan L, and Justin K each won two events. Our first league meet is next Wednesday, March 18th at home against Sonora. Please come support and we'll see you on the track!
Attention Sophomores who will be taking the PSAT:
Just a reminder that the PSAT-10 will be taking place this Wednesday, March 11th. Report time is 7:00 a.m. and you must have a current Sunny Hills ID to be admitted. Printouts from Aeries will not be accepted. For more information regarding the exam, refer to the Sunny Hills website or to the email that was sent to your school email last week.
ASB Elections are Friday. On Friday you will meet the candidates at the assembly and then vote for your ASB officers for next year. These people will lead the group that will work to make your school year as great as possible. Friday is your chance to choose. Be sure to vote!
Are you interested in running for class officer? Information packets will be available beginning tomorrow for Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen that wish to be candidates for class officer for 2020-2021. Each class has a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Packets will be available on sunnyhills.net under ASB. You can do it! You should do it! Serve your school!
It’s officially Prom season. Our Prom is Saturday, April 4. That’s the Saturday after we return from Spring Break. Start making your plans!

EOY Stag Theme Submissions
Aimee: Hey Karen-- did you have fun at STAG last Friday?
Karen: yeah! The theme drift was super cool, I wonder what the next stag theme will be? I have a ton of cool ideas!
Aimee: really? Well, ASB is opening up submissions for theme ideas for the next stag on May 15th! It’s the first time ever that they’re allowing people outside of ASB to have an input for the theme.
Karen: the link will be on sunnyhills.net, and you’ll have until next Friday, March 20 to submit your ideas.
Aimee: the winner of the theme idea will also receive a free ticket to the stag dance in May! So make sure to send in your theme for a chance to win!
Attention Seniors! Jostens will be coming to Sunny Hills HS to take your graduation and class jewelry order forms tomorrow, March 10th. Jostens will have a table set up at 11:00AM. The cap and gown is now $45. Grad package deals can no longer be purchased on campus, but can be ordered online at Jostens.com or by calling 1-800-JOSTENS.
Our monthly Skills USA club meeting is today after school in Room 402 of the EPIC building. All members and all engineering students are encouraged to attend. We will be talking about plans for the State Competition on April 16. See you there!
There will be a non-mandatory World Wildlife Fund meeting today at lunch in room 94. Those of you who have fundraising money can turn it in early or if you are interested in fundraising please stop by for more information.
