• Science is everywhere in today's world. From cooking to gardening, understanding the daily weather report to reading a map, and using a cell phone to starting a car, science is part of our daily lives. New developments in science and technology are changing our world at an unprecedented rate, with future leaps in technology we can only imagine. Being "science literate" is no longer only an advantage but a necessity to be competitive in a global economy as well as an informed citizen. The significance of science in our modern society is inescapable.
