- Join us to positively impact lives and change futures!
Who we are
We are 11th and 12th-grade student leaders, who support and mentor first-year students through their high school experience. Our leaders are passionate and enthusiastic helpers on campus, who understand the struggles of freshman year, and want to guide others through an amazing first year of high school!
What we do
Welcome new Highlanders
Link Crew kicks off the Summer Bridge program, where incoming first-year students get familiar with the campus, get answers to any questions they may have about the start of the year, and make their first connections with their leaders and peers.
Provide Mentorship
Every other week, Link Crew Leaders connect with freshman focus HiSTEP classes. These connections provide support by teaching important life skills such as honesty, flexibility, goal-setting, confidence, and organization skills. 9th graders can also lean on their Link Crew Leaders for tutoring and extra academic support.
Create Leaders
Zero period "Super Crew" is an OPTIONAL part of Link Crew for those who want to really enhance their leadership skills. We focus on different aspects of leadership each month, do projects, and help prepare our connections!
How can I become a leader?
Link Crew applications are opening after Spring Break to rising juniors and seniors! If you want to find out more about being a Link Crew leader and how to apply, come to the Lecture Hall at lunch on Monday, March 3rd! We will have an additional Q&A session with current Link Crew leaders coming soon!
