School Policies

  • Parents, Student, and Staff, the purpose of this page is to inform all our stakeholders of the various policies that La Habra High School uses to ensure safety, provide opportunities for academic success, and promote ethical and moral maturity in all our students.

The responsibility for behavior rests on the individual student, and it is our expectation that all students understand that the classroom is a place for learning and instruction. It is also our expectation that our teachers are able to use the entire class period on instruction and not be forced to continually waste instruction time on disciplining students.

It is important to note that LHHS will exhaust all efforts to curb poor behavior, but ultimately, a student who refuses to behave according to expectations will be transferred to another school within the district and given a fresh start or Expulsion from our school district may be an option.

Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the schools policies so we can work in partnership with the home to achieve maximum success from all our students. Should you have any questions please contact the school at 562-266-5200
