    Generally, you'll take the SAT for the first time in the spring of your junior year, and scores typically come back in four weeks.                   

    This allows you enough time to retake the test during the summer or fall if you're not satisfied with your score.

    Spring State Testing - 2020

    California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) state-mandated assessments

    California requires all school districts to administer Smarter Balanced assessments. These online assessments are designed to measure how well students are meeting new academic standards designed to prepare them for college, career and life.

     Who: Students in grade 11 will participate in the Smarter Balanced Assessments Consortium (SBAC) tests in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math

     When: Begins March 2020

    IMPORTANT: In order for the CSU or CCC to automatically receive your CAASPP results, students must authorize the release of their results by marking the release button at the end of the CAASPP assessment for English language arts /literacy and math (the authorization must be done for each one separately. 


    California Science Test (CAST)

    The California Science Test (CAST) is an online assessment based on the California Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). All local educational agencies (LEAs) with eligible students in grades five and eight and in high school will administer the CAST test during the Spring semester.
