Stand Up for Kids
Stand Up for Kids supports unaccompanied youth ages 12-24 experiencing homelessness with counseling, mentoring, and housing. If you are in need of support, please call the Stand Up for Kids Hotline at 714-356-5437. You can visit their website at www.standupforkids.org to learn more.
The Everychild Foundation Emergency Shelter and Youth Program for homeless unaccompanied youth ages 10-17.
This program provides:
- Emergency shelter
Other assistance includes:
- Food & Clothing
- Individual and group counseling
- Medical services
- Legal help and long-term safety plans
After a participant graduates from the Youth Shelter, their goal is to make sure that the youth exit into safe, long-term housing, whether that is reunification with their parents or another appropriate arrangement. A six-month aftercare follow-up period is also in place so that staff can stay in touch to provide whatever support they might need to stay on track.If you or someone you know requires safe shelter, please call the 24-hour hotline numbers below to connect.

The Orangewood Resource Center
The Orangewood Resource Center (ORC) is available to assist you with services needed to become independent. Our goal is to provide you with individualized guidance and assistance to help you live independently. The ORC is your one stop for information on other Orangewood programs and referrals to other organizations that can help you.
A place for you to drop in or call ahead for an appointment! Access employment leads, create a professional resume and receive interview tips. Receive guidance and assistance when considering options after high school on:
- Job training
- College
- Find shelter information and housing resources
- Get information on other Foundation programs
- Computers, copier, fax machine and washer/dryer!
- Food, hygiene items and clothing (depending on availability)
