• Clearing Your Student's Attendance

    If you believe there was an error, and your student was in class but marked absent, please contact the teacher directly.

    If your student was or will be absent for a class period or a full day, please email byepezmedina@fjuhsd.org or machavez@fjuhsd.org or call (562) 266-5012.


    Please include the student’s name, ID number, date of absence, and reason for the absence. All absences must be cleared within three (3) days or the absence will be considered unexcused.  After three days a note may be submitted to the Attendance Office and will be reviewed by the APSS, Mr. Macias, for approval.  Approval after three days is not guaranteed.


    Excused absences include: Verified Illness, Medical Appointments, Recognized Religious Observances, Court Appearance, and Funerals.
