A message from Troy High School Principal, Dr. Mynster

Dear Troy Family,

It has been another typically busy week with week three of the Fall semester now in the books! There has been so much going on with athletics, and our teams are having a wonderful Fall season! For the indoor sports or pool-based sports, the weather has been less of a factor, and Girls’ Volleyball has only lost one game this season, and our Boys’ Water Polo is also playing very well but did suffer a rare loss vs. Chino Hills this week. The heat has delayed Girls’ Tennis as well as Cross Country, however football with the ability to shift start times and the nature of the game is able to play. Our Girls’ Flag football team remain undefeated are playing well and getting stronger every game. Yesterday our Boys’ Football teams opened the season with our freshmen losing a close game and our JV team winning their first. Tonight our Varsity plays away at Rio Hondo Preparatory at 7PM in Irwindale. I look forward to seeing our team play a rematch with the team that knocked us out of the 2nd round of CIF playoffs last year. If you have
nothing on your agenda for tonight, it is going to be a great night for high school football!

Have a good weekend, Warriors!
