Join Us for Sonora’s Back to School Night Block Party!

Dear Raiders,

We are excited to welcome our students and families to Sonora High School’s Back to School Night Block Party on Thursday, August 27! This year, we are introducing a new format designed to bring our Raider community together for an evening of connection, celebration, and fun.

🎉 The Block Party begins at 5:00 PM!
Join us in front of Sonora for food trucks, music, games, clubs, and more before the evening’s events begin.

📣 6:00 PM – Welcome Ceremony
Please join us in the Small Gym for a special welcome as we kick off the evening together.

👋 6:15–8:00 PM – Meet Your Teachers & Explore Sonora
Families will have opportunities to connect with teachers at department tables in the Student Union and visit classrooms during scheduled classroom visit times. Classroom visits will begin at 6:15 PM, with each department assigned a specific time.

Throughout the evening, families can also enjoy student performances, athletics information, college and career presentations, senior activities, wellness support, and more.

We can't wait to open our doors and celebrate the start of another great year with our Raiders and Raider families! Thank you for being such an important part of our Sonora community.
