Dear Troy Families,

Registration for 2026–27 school year courses and 2026 Summer School will begin soon. We would like to share the process students will follow and how you can support them at home.

Registration Process
Students will:

• Attend a grade-level presentation that explains course options and prerequisites.
• Have several days to research courses, enter their requested classes into their Aeries Academic Plan, and sign up for summer school if course remediation is needed.
• Meet individually with a school counselor to review and confirm their course requests.

To help students make informed decisions, they will have access to:

• Course profiles (course descriptions and information)
• A lunchtime Registration Fair, where students can speak with teachers from every department
• A Homework Calculator, which helps students consider the number of classes and course levels that fit their time and study commitments

All registration materials—including the grade-level presentation, list of course offerings, and additional resources—will be posted in your student’s Counseling Google Classroom. Parents are encouraged to review these materials with their student.

The attached flyer includes important dates, the full registration process, links to course profiles, and summer school registration information.

We encourage you to review course options with your student and help them select an appropriate number of courses and course levels for the upcoming school year.
