Free Virtual Parenting Workshops (April–May)

Parents and caregivers are invited to participate in a series of free virtual workshops designed to support you in navigating the challenges of raising and connecting with youth. Offered through the Behavioral Health Training Collaborative, these sessions provide practical tools, strategies, and insights to strengthen your parenting approach.

Workshops include:

  • Improving Communication with Your Teen – Learn effective communication strategies and better understand adolescent development
  • Boundary and Expectation Setting – Build skills to establish healthy rules, expectations, and consequences
  • Parent Self-Regulation – Develop techniques to respond thoughtfully and support your child’s emotional needs
  • Trauma 101: Parenting Children Who Have Experienced Trauma – Gain insight into how trauma impacts youth and how to support them effectively
